On top of that, the Iberian Peninsula’s location in Southwestern Europe turns it into a true year-round destination—the summers are gorgeous, spring and fall are mild and beautiful, and even winter can bring some blue skies. Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Porto, rental car collection and drive to the Minho Region

Arrival in Porto, rental car collection and drive to the Minho Region: Upon landing at Porto Airport, collect your rental car and begin your journey! Head north to the lush Minho region, renowned for its "Vinho Verde" wine. Relax and relish the scenic beauty. Unwind in the evening with a delightful dinner at a local restaurant, savoring the region's culinary delights.

Day 2 - Discover the city of Guimarães

Discover the city of Guimarães: Explore Guimarães, Portugal's birthplace, with a stroll through its medieval old city center. Step back in time and immerse yourself in its historical charm. Don't miss the chance to try some local specialties at a traditional café, adding a taste of authenticity to your day.

Day 3 - Drive towards the Côa region visiting the Douro Valley

Embark on a scenic drive to the Côa region, making a stop in the UNESCO-listed Douro Valley. Delight in the terraced vineyards and indulge in wine tasting at a local winery. Capture the mesmerizing sunset over the Douro River, creating a picturesque end to your day.

Day 4 -Day to relax in Marialva

Day 5 - Drive to Madrid visiting Salamanca on the way

Day 6 - Day to explore Madrid. Private half-day guided tour of Madrid’s old town

Discover Madrid's old town with our amazing guide and explore iconic sites like Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol. Day 7 - Drive towards Granada and first city impressions

Today you have a long drive towards Granada. This the capital of one of the greatest caliphates of Spain, the last city reconquered by the Catholic Kings, and it preserves much of the history of that time. Its historic city center and its cathedral, the Arab neighborhood of Albaicín and, of course, the most famous historical monument in Spain, La Alhambra, make this city a must-see.

Day 8 - Day to relax and explore more of Granada

Explore Granada's heritage, including the exquisite Alhambra, the Cathedral, and Royal Chapel. Revel in the romantic ambiance of this enchanting city. Wrap up your day with a leisurely stroll through the Albaicín neighborhood, known for its narrow winding streets and stunning views.

Day 9 - Drive towards Sevilla with a detour to the beaches of Marbella

Drive to Sevilla via the picturesque beaches of Marbella. Immerse yourself in Sevilla's rich history and vibrant culture. As the day winds down, head to a local flamenco bar for a spontaneous evening filled with passionate music and dance.

Day 10 - Day to explore Sevilla. Flamenco show in the evening

Discover Sevilla's landmarks like the Giralda Tower and Royal Alcazar. End the day with a passionate Flamenco show, capturing the essence of Andalucia. After the show, stroll through the lively streets of Triana, known for its vibrant nightlife and local charm.

Day 11 - Return to Portugal with a stop in the Algarve

Return to Portugal, making a stop in Vila Real de Santo António in the Algarve. Enjoy the region's stunning beaches and delightful climate. Unwind with a seaside dinner, savoring fresh seafood and the soothing sound of waves.

Day 12 - Spend the day exploring some of the Algarve’s most amazing sights

Day 13 - Drive towards Lisboa and explore the Portuguese capital

Head back to Lisbon, exploring key attractions like Chiado, Bairro Alto, and Alfama. Visit the historic Belém district, known for the Jerónimo's Monastery. In the evening, we recomend dining at a Fado restaurant, immersing yourself in Portugal's traditional music and culinary delights.

Day 14 - Discover the World Heritage town of Sintra

This last full day of your honeymoon has to be spent in one place in Portugal that has become the epitome of all things romantic. Explore Sintra's romantic charm, visiting attractions like Biester Palace and Monserrate Palace. Indulge in local delights like "Travesseiros" and take in the sea's proximity. As the sun sets, enjoy a quiet dinner at a hilltop restaurant, offering breathtaking views of the coastline.

Day 15 - Drive to Lisboa airport and return the rental car

This is your departure day. Make sure you deliver your rental car at the Lisboa airport before you start your flight boarding procedures. Have a safe flight home!
